Their services include supported housing, crisis-helplines, drop-in centres, employment and training schemes, counselling and befriending.

Plymouth and District MIND offers the 'Peace of Mind' information and advice service in Plymouth.

 

To help the local population stay mentally and physically well, to get better when they are ill and to remain as independent as possible.

Plymouth Community Healthcare is an independent social enterprise providing NHS care for local people. They provide community, physical and mental healthcare for people living in Plymouth as well as some specialist services in Devon and Cornwall.

Emergence is a service user-led organisation built to support people affected by personality disorders, including service users, carers, professionals, family and friends.

 

Plymouth Options offers free assessments to see who is suitable for their  counselling (because they do not take personality disorders).

If you think you have a personality disorder it is best to visit your GP as they can refer you for further help elsewhere.

This service is available to adults in Plymouth with common problems such as depression and anxiety. 

Plymouth Options are based in the city centre in the Centre Court building on Exeter Street and in most GP surgeries.

BPD World is a registered charity for people with borderline personality disorder in the UK. It provides a support centre where information and questions can be shared between service users.

British and Irish group for the study of Personality Disorders

BIGSPD was formed to provide a forum for a focus for academic activity and professional networking in the field of personality disorder.
A conference is held once a year to present new research and workshops.
